The history - Groove Radio had a show called 'The 5 O'Clock Disk Drive', where DJ's (usually Swedish Egil) would spin live for 25 minutes, at 5 pm (hence the name). Some of my friends have this mix, and I thought I'd share it with you, the web leeches, as well. This particular mix was originally done for Groove Radio here in Los Angeles back in 1996, but the station died before I could finish the mix. With that in mind, multi-artist megamixes are a great place to dump all my little ideas into a continuous mix.
Usually, it's only enough for a minute or so of a mix - not a full remix. I usually get a lot of mix ideas in my head.
